Complete a CME class? Claim your credits before July 8
We are moving to a new, improved CME platform -- woohoo. Make sure all your hard-earned credits are claimed by July 8 for a stress-free transition. Log into MiCME now.
VPN changes in effect on July 31
VPN will be available to managed devices only at the end of this month. Prepare for this change by trying out WVD or requesting your own Michigan Medicine laptop. See the details in Headlines.
Oracle-Java removal coming September 1
All instances of unlicensed Oracle Java throughout Michigan Medicine will be removed on September 1. Let HITS know if you have a license for Oracle Java, asap. More info at michmed.org/java.
No changes planned for Michigan Medicine M365
Please ignore the email about U-M campus M365 changes. No changes or reduction in service/storage are planned for Michigan Medicine’s M365 apps. M365 remains our strategic platform for communication, collaboration, storage, and getting work done.
UMICH common password: syncing continues
Michigan Medicine is embracing one password. 50 percent of accounts have synced their passwords to date – and you can too on the Michigan Medicine User Profile page. July brought some tooling enhancements, and process enhancements will kick-off in August. Get started at michmed.org/sync.

Ai is new and exciting and we’re all working to get our arms around it. Check out guidelines from HITS for bringing Ai onto Michigan Medicine networks. Ai info in the Help Center.
