"Search" function not working on several Michigan Medicine internal websites

HITS is working to resolve an issue that is causing the "search" function to fail on a variety of internal Michigan Medicine websites.

Update as of 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 2:

HITS has resolved the issue that was affecting search on a variety of internal Michigan Medicine websites. Search functionality should now be working normally on these sites.

Update as of 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 31:

Partial search functionality on the UMHS Clinical Homepage and Nursing at Michigan has been restored. HITS continues working to resolve this issue on remaining sites, and we will update users when that happens.

Sites that continue to be impacted include:

On impacted sites, when a user tries to search via the search box on one of these pages, they receive a message that says: "Service Unavailable"

Instructions:

  • Although the search boxes on many Michigan Medicine websites are not functional, website browsing is working properly. Clicking links still works fine
  • HITS is working to correct the issue. We don't yet have an estimate of when this issue will be resolved.
