On Thursday, April 25, you should see the "Report Phishing" button at the top of your Outlook toolbar.
If you receive an email message and suspect it is a phishing email - intended to trick you to click a malicious link or reveal personal information – you now have a safe and easy way to report it. Simply highlight the questionable message and click the Report Phishing button on the Outlook toolbar. Information Assurance will be notified, a ServiceNow ticket will be created, and the suspicious email will be removed from your inbox. The button will also be available for Outlook on the web.
In a few weeks, all of Michigan Medicine will participate in a simulated phishing email campaign. Use the Report Phishing button if you receive one of the simulated messages, too!
