Health Information Technology and Services (HITS) has rolled out a design update to the authentication page for two sites: the Michigan Medicine Help Center and MLearning (retired).

This authentication page allows users to select which credential type they wish to use: either UMICH (Level-1) or Michigan Medicine (Level-2) credentials. Selecting MidMichigan credentials is also an option, but will only work with connected applications.

The updated design for these authentication pages is based on the original MLearning login page, with some design tweaks like moving the dropdown menu to the top to allow users to interact with the page more quickly.

“We want users to feel confident when they are authenticating to tools across Michigan Medicine,” said David Hasselbach, manager for HITS Identity and Access Management. “In the coming months, we are expanding this effort to streamline the look of all Michigan Medicine authentication pages, to make logging in straightforward and more secure.”
