In-classroom lecture capture is available in the following rooms:

  • Med Sci I 3330, 5330

Please contact HITS three days in advance of the lecture recording to coordinate the setup. Click the button below to request initial setup and training.

Get Room Training

Need AV support testing equipment in a study room or lecture hall? We can help with training and answer questions about room capabilities, or provide room recommendations based on your needs. Please reach out to us at least two weeks in advance to request AV room training and schedule a time to meet.

Application Support

HITS provides application support and help identifying the best tool for your needs. Potential solutions can include existing applications in the HITS environment, leveraging solutions from across campus, and investigating and analyzing new vendor solutions.

Reserve a Room

Note: Current use of rooms has been restricted and are subject to approval based on COVID-19 guidelines. Use of many event spaces and conference rooms is suspended. Please contact med.school.scheduling@umich.edu with any questions.

We offer a variety of rooms that can be reserved for studying or small group work. To reserve a room and learn about available equipment, visit SchedulON using your Michigan Medicine (level-2) credentials. For first time users, go to the Michigan Medicine Help Center to request a SchedulON account.

When reserving medical school classrooms, study rooms and lecture halls, note that semester scheduling limits how far ahead a room can be booked in advance. Typically rooms cannot be booked for the next semester until the last two weeks of the current semester.

Request Event Recording and Support

While HITS does not provide event recording services at this time, Michigan Medicine has partnered with two vendors who can provide different levels of AV support and services for events. These services are available for a fee using a short code. Contact our vendor partners directly:

  • Russell Video: a full service AV support group that offers streaming and recording, with the ability to run event space technology at Michigan Medicine.

  • Michigan Media: a university group providing video production services for streaming and recording only.
