Learn more about AV room technology support, reserving rooms, training, watching pre recorded lectures, and more.

Classroom technology is designated as a bronze level service, with support available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Expect a response within four hours of service request.

Watch Lectures on Mediasite

Mediasite is an application that allows users to access Medical School pre recorded lectures and other content. If you have a technical issue with a recording (like sound quality or video issues) let us know by clicking the button below. We will work to respond within one business day.

Improve your Internet Connection

At a minimum, your internet plan should run at 5 mbps download and 1 mbps upload. We recommend 15 mbps download and 5 mbps upload to prevent common connectivity-related issues, and that you connect via a physical wire. Recommended speed test tools: ComcastGoogle, or SpeedTest.net.

Request a Loaner Computer

If your personal computer breaks, you can request a loaner laptop for a limited time by clicking the button below. Laptops available are HITS Core Windows devices.

Please note there is a limited supply and expected turnaround time to receive the device is three days.

Reserve a Room

Note: Current use of rooms is restricted and subject to approval based on COVID-19 guidelines. Use of many event spaces and conference rooms is suspended. Please contact med.school.scheduling@umich.edu with any questions.

We offer a variety of rooms that can be reserved for studying or small group work. To reserve a room and learn about available equipment, visit SchedulON using your Michigan Medicine (level-2) credentials. For first time users, go to the Michigan Medicine Help Center to request a SchedulON account.

When reserving medical school classrooms, study rooms and lecture halls, note that semester scheduling limits how far ahead a room can be booked in advance. Typically rooms cannot be booked for the next semester until the last two weeks of the current semester.

  • Basic Science Research Building (BSRB)
  • Buhl Research Center for Human Genetics (BUHL)
  • Cardiovascular Center (CVC)
  • Medical Science Research Buildings I & II
  • Taubman Health Sciences Library (THSL)
