HITS supports a vital communication tool in the form of +25,000 pagers throughout the hospital system. We offer multiple options to suit the needs of our organization. Pages can be sent using the Internal Home Paging System.

Pager Support

In-person pager support is available at the HITS Paging Office - located at the entrance of UH South in room F2594.

The HITS Paging Office is the only location for pager services support. Hours of operation are:

  • Walk in service: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 10 a.m. & 12 p.m. - 3 p.m
    • No appointment required for:       
      • Pager troubleshooting
      • Pager replacements
  • Appointments: Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - 8 a.m., 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. & 3 p.m. - 4 p.m.
    • Required for:
      • Offsite customers
      • Picking up more than 5 pagers
      • Changes to more than 5 pagers
  • All other requests must FIRST submit a request via the Michigan Medicine Help Center (see options above).
  • If you need to return a pager we now have a drobox available at the HITS Paging Office. Please fill out a pager return form when returning a pager. 

Please be sure to record the ticket number you receive after submitting your request.
