City Events Group will join HITS in supporting events across the hospital and medical school.
HITS has selected City Events Group as a preferred vendor providing technology support in Michigan Medicine event and conference spaces. As a preferred vendor, City Events Group has agreed to a standard rate and can be leveraged for daytime, evening, or weekend event support. Establishing a robust service that our customers can rely on is an important step as medical campus activity returns to pre-pandemic levels.
Services
The City Events group will be familiar with the room technology in popular Michigan Medicine auditoriums, conference rooms, and classrooms, including Danto Auditorium and Kahn Auditorium. City Events can assist with connecting to projectors, video conferencing over Zoom or Teams, adjusting microphones, and camera positioning. Additional services like streaming are also available. Medical school events taking place during business hours in designated spaces will continue to be supported by the HITS Classroom Technology Services and Support team.
One request form for all Michigan Medicine events
Request technology support for any Michigan Medicine event through the Michigan Medicine Help Center. Please provide as much advance notice as possible. City Events Group needs 7-10 business days to ensure availability. Visit the Help Center at help.med.umich.edu/it, and search ‘event support’ to quickly find the request form.
