On Thursday, November 16th at 6:00 a.m., HITS will implement the ability to view Outlook calendars across Michigan Medicine, Sparrow, and U Health-West.
Faculty and staff at each of these organizations will be able to add colleagues from other locations to calendar invitations in Exchange and see the free and busy status of their calendars to assist with scheduling.
HITS also made configuration changes to enable email encryption between the three organizations. All email communication sent to the other organizations will be encrypted to ensure security. Email users will no longer need to add [secure] to the subject line of any email when sending messages to colleagues at Sparrow and UMH West.
Additional features to enable enhanced communication between the three organizations are planned.
