The next MiChart upgrade is planned for Sunday, April 24.
This will be the first planned upgrade for 2022 with a goal to introduce new features, limit impact to the organization and maintain regulatory requirements.
The spring upgrade will include updates, system maintenance and new features to the MiChart application. The newest upgrade will enable some key changes and enhancements, including:
- The Financial Assistance module within MiChart goes live.
- Users can upload staff photos to display in MiChart / MyChart.
- Users can add About Me info in MiChart / MyChart.
- When releasing signed and held inpatient orders, offset times are now preserved.
- Outpatient prescription due times are more descriptive.
- A new Limb Volume Calculator for occupational therapists and OT Techs.
- The Status Board has a new look with revamped settings.
- The Liability Buckets Activity is updated to be more visually appealing and easier to use.
Clinician User Experience Labs
To prepare for new features within the upgrade, MiChart users are invited to attend User Experience Labs to test their daily workflows in a practice environment.
The labs will offer the opportunity to identify the impact of changes and provide feedback to the MiChart Upgrade project team.
