Move large data sets for computation with Michigan Medicine's high-speed research network.
About the Network
The High Speed Research Network is a new network route offering a faster, more direct path to ARC services from the Michigan Medicine network, enabling large data to be transferred for computational activities.
As of December, research devices with attached instrumentation at BSRB and research systems in the HITS datacenter can take advantage of this route. HITS plans to continue expanding the network route to additional Michigan Medicine buildings throughout fiscal year 2020 and 2021.
Get Access
The high-speed research network is reserved for moving large data sets requiring ARC services only. To obtain access, talk to your department's research IT liaison or submit a request to research engagement online.
