ALERT: Update Apache HTTP server 2.4.49 AND 2.4.50 to fix zero-day vulnerability to fix zero-day vulnerability
This message is intended for U-M IT staff who are responsible for university systems running Apache web server. This is an update to the ITS IA Alert regarding an Apache HTTPS server zero-day vulnerability originally sent on 10-5-21. Since then, we have learned that version 2.4.50 is also vulnerable and needs to be updated as soon as possible.

Health Information Technology and Services (HITS) has rolled out a design update to the authentication page for two sites: the Michigan Medicine Help Center and MLearning (retired).
Upcoming Outlook upgrades mark next step toward full Microsoft 365 experience

Keep an eye on your laptop for swelling batteries
We are working with the Michigan Medicine vendor to identify any issues of swollen or disfigured laptop batteries. In some cases, battery swelling is significant enough to impact the touchpad, keyboard, or outer shell.

NOTICE: Watch for vishing emails about Booking confirmation for flight
A number of people at U-M have reported receiving an email that claims a flight has been booked for them and asks them to contact the sender by phone to complete their trip information. This is a part of a vishing (voice phishing) scam.
