Work continues to design and deliver a new online Talent Management platform to serve all of Michigan Medicine. As announced in late February, the project team’s first priority is replacing (and upgrading) the technology Michigan Medicine currently uses to support training activities. MLearning will be retired and replaced by Cornerstone Learning in fall 2022.

Intelligent Hub (MDM) will be removed from personal mobile devices, starting April 15

HITS will begin removing Intelligent Hub (MDM) from personal mobile devices on April 15. Impacted customers are being notified, and those who wish to continue accessing Michigan Medicine privileged networks or other resources will need to switch to Microsoft Intune.

Michigan Medicine’s instance of Skype for Business (SfB) will be retired on March 31. This planned retirement is happening in conjunction with the rollout of Microsoft Teams – which is now our preferred tool for business-related (non-clinical) communication and collaboration, including chat.

Phishing emails that target students with fake job scams continue to be prevalent. A number of U-M students, including incoming high school students who haven’t attended U-M yet, have reported scam emails about work-from-home job opportunities.
